Product Description

New Generation Heavy Duty Super Thin Wire Saw Marble Cutting Machine

Product Introduction

As the founding enterprise of stone wire saws, Pinhe Precision Technology has undergone more than six years of research and development. The equipment has been iterated to the ninth generation, with more than fifty patents, including more than twenty invention patents and two software copyrights, avoiding subsequent intellectual property disputes and reserving the rights to prosecute infringing enterprises. Pinhe Precision has always been based on continuous innovation and upgrading, constantly increasing investment in research and development, and establishing a strong R & D team. There is a lot of room for future equipment upgrades. If it is just copying, it is difficult for the equipment to make progress in iterations, and it is difficult to solve problems when problems occur.

How is the yield of a wire saw calculated, and how much higher is it than that of traditional equipment?

The yield of a wire saw is directly related to the thickness of the slabs being cut and the diameter of the diamond wire used. For the commonly used 0.55mm diamond wire from Pinhe, the resulting kerf is about 0.6mm.

For example, when a final polished thickness of 18mm is needed for a slab, it is only necessary to cut raw slabs to a thickness of 18.3mm. Adding the kerf of 0.6mm, the yield for 1 cubic meter of material is 1000/(18mm + 0.3mm (for polishing) + 0.6mm kerf) = 52.9 slabs. With traditional frame saws, using the currently most common 1.5mm thick steel strips in Shuitou, with a cutting thickness of approximately 2.3mm and a kerf of about 2.7mm, the yield is 1000/(18mm + 0.3mm (for polishing) + 2.7mm kerf) = 47.6 slabs. Therefore, the wire saw cuts 5.3 more slabs per cubic meter of 18mm thick material than the frame saw.

Similarly, for a final polished thickness of 14mm for a slab, it is only necessary to cut raw slabs to a thickness of 14.3mm. Adding the kerf of 0.6mm, the yield for 1 cubic meter of material is 1000/(14mm + 0.3mm (for polishing) + 0.6mm kerf) = 67.1 slabs. With traditional frame saws, using the currently most common 1.5mm thick steel strips in Shuitou, with a cutting thickness of approximately 2.3mm and a kerf of about 2.7mm, the yield is 1000/(14mm + 0.3mm (for polishing) + 2.7mm kerf) = 58.8 slabs. Thus, the wire saw cuts 8.3 more slabs per cubic meter of 14mm thick material than the frame saw.
